Country artist Randy Matthews was born and raised in the culturally rich town of Port aux Basques, Newfoundland. He began writing music at 15 years old and recorded two albums as a teenager. As an adult, he pursued other interests but has recently returned to his passion for writing and performing. He has since developed a strong fanbase in Newfoundland through live shows and online performances.
